She leaves behind the light of her life, her daughter, Marjie Clay of Williamston; parents, Tom and Marge Clay of Williamston; sister, June (Bill) Gislason of Kansas City, KS; brothers, Andy (Debbie) Clay of Williamston and Peter (Christine) Clay of Ashville, NC; grandmother, Helen R. Clay of Goshen, IN; six nieces and three nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Okemos, 2268 Bennett Road, Okemos with the Rev.

In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and friend she was also a dental assistant, retail manager, school, community and hospital volunteer, managed the operations of the Masonic Temple and was Santa's wife. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Charlotte where she was involved in Christian Education and served On many committees in the church including: wedding organizer, the bazaar, funeral dinner and the Blanch Moyer Circle. She was a member of Eastern Star, loved to play cards, go to Sharon's Cafe, tell jokes and spend time with her family. Danlke. Smith, Vincent A. Williamston, Ml Born April 14, 1919, in Lansing, ML-died December 23, 2004, at the age of 85. Mr. Smith was a Veteran of WW having served with the United States Army Timberwolf Division and also enjoyed photography and flowers.

He was preceded in death by his bother, Maurice, wife, Ellen Smith, son, Sidney Smith, and grandson, David V. Peabody. Surviving is his daughter, Carolyn (Roger) Peabody; son, Victor Smith; grandchildren, Jehon Smith and Roger M. Peabody; and great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Marina and Jazmin Smith. Memorial services will be held at the end of March.

The family is being served by the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Williamston Chapel, Williamston. Kessler, Henry sl Age 61, passed Arthur, Homer and Paul; sisters OpaL Ruby and Garnette; great-granddaughter, Tandy Leigh McDowell. Pearl graduated from Mason High School in 1933. She was an honorary member of the Mason Baptist Church.

She and her husband were former owner and operators of the Frandor Karmelkorn Shop in the 60's and 2 Postal Contract Stations in Lansing. She volunteered for the Easter Seals, enjoyed traveling, knitting, sewing and lived in Williamston for the last 24 years. Surviving are her daughter, Joann (Ken) VanBuren of Evart; 3 grandchildren, Deborah (William) Scar-nati of Mason, Patricia (Steve) Johnson of Owosso and Jeffrey McDowell of Mesa, AZ; greatgrandchildren, David (Sandra) Packer, Steven McDowell Christopher and Nicholas Johnson, Jennifer Lynn and Chelsea McDowell; great-great-granddaughter, Whitney McDowell; brother, Calvin (Reba) brown of Lake City, FL; special niece, Jean Carla Hull-iberger. Portland, Ml Age 71, passed away on December 24, 2004. He was born on January 30, 1933 in Westphalia, the son of Peter and Clara (Platte) Trierweil-er. Mr. Trierweiler was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church in Portland. Jim was a well known tenor with the Portland Civic Players and the Lansing Symphonic Choir.

He also enjoyed singing at numerous area weddings, music and gardening. He was preceded in death by his 6 sisters, Dorothy, Ethelyn, Leona, Lucile, Rosemary, and Helene; and 4 brothers, Elmer, Paul Harold, and Jerome. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Janice; children, David Trierweiler and Deanna (Rick) Leik both of Portland. Gay was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and sister-in- law. She was a friend to all who met her and gave of herself unconditionally.
