Granger Recycling; Watertown Mccormick, ella e. God saw that she was tired and a cure was not to be. He put his arm around her and said, "come home with me." Although we love her dearly we could not ask for her to stay. She left us years ago, but her soul just left today. On this day, Saturday, April 19, 1997, Ella E.

McCormick, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went home to be with her heavenly Father. She resided in Morrice with her daughter. She was born on March 3, 1918 in Flushing, MI the daughter of Floyd and Mildred (Noe) Geney. She graduated from Swartz Creek Schools, and was affiliated with the Haslett Baptist Church. On April 23, 1940 she married Meredith "Bud" McCormick in Napoleon, OH; he predeceased her in 1996.

Mrs. McCormick was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Sober and Judie (Bob) Spangler; five grandchildren, Stanley Sober, Rebecca Sober, Scott Sober, Bobbie Nabors and Ron Spangler; four great grandchildren and one nephew; Robert (Debbie) Geney. She was predeceased by two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild, Rodney Sober. A graveside service will be held at Rose-lawn Cemetery in Perry on Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m., with Rev.

Tom Harmon officiating. There will be no funeral home visitation. The family will receive friends at the home of Judie and Bob Spangler, 136 N. Main St. in Morrice on Monday, April 1, from 11 a.m.

A.M., where he had served as Master of the Lodge for two terms; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Dimondale 363; a member of the Houghton-Higgins Elks Lodge; the Moose and Eagles Lodges in Houghton Lake and also served as secretary of his pool league in Houghton Lake. He is survived by his daughter, Alene (George) Lor-encen of Lansing; step granddaughter, Pamela Jackson of Lansing; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, June in 1995 and by a sister-in-law, Frances Cobum. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m.

He put His arm around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful for He only takes the best. He knew that you were weary and He knew that you were in pain, he knew that you would never be well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were too hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be with you." Born August 2, 1943 in Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Londgo. Surviving are her loving husband, Richard Cline, five children, John (Jodie) Adams of Lansing, David Fowler of Lansing, Jackie (Mark) Leyrer, Melissa (Scott) Brennan, Nicole Fowler; 11 grandchildren; and very special friends, Nikki Eby and Paul Zang. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, H. Josephine (Jo) Cole; his daughters, Gay Ann and Chuck Liebert of Portland, OR, Mara Lee and Gary Cook, and Jola Stone all of Grand Rapids; his son, Andrew and Rose Cole of Greenville; seven granddaughters and one great granddaughter; sisters-in-aw, Norma Cole, Maxine Cole and Frieda (Harold) Root; several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller N.E. at Three Mile Rd.

Lansing Age 73, died April 19, 1997 at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Andrews retired from J.W. Knapps as an Assistant Buyer after 15 years of service and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darcy Dutzy.

Surviving are husband, Robert W. Andrews; daughters, Becky Dutzy, and Amy Dutzy; sons, John Dutzy, and Jack (Sherry) Dutzy; grandchildren, Matthew Nordstrom, Dustin Dutzy, and Dean Dutzy; four sisters; two brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is 12 noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday with services 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W.

SHARPE ROBERT LEASON "BOB" East Lansing Age 57, died Wednesday, April 16, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, after a long courageous struggle with illness. He had lived in East Lansing since 1974, and was a summer (and winter) resident of Green Lake, In-terlochen for many years.

He was born December 22, 1929 in Hastings, the son of the Rev. Leason and Edith (Nelson) Sharpe who preceded him in death. He spent his early years in Morgan-Park, Chicago and returned to Hastings in 1945. He later attended Kalamazoo College and graduated from Western Michigan University in 1953. Bob served in the U.S.

Army 1953-1955 (Austria) and was then employed by Consumers Power Company in Lansing 1955-1961 and in Livonia 1961-1969 as Assistant Manager of the West Wayne Division. He was later employed by MSU Agricultural Natural Research Educational Institute until 1985. He held his friends and family close to his heart and cherished his memories. He loved the lake, the outdoors, and all creatures great and small. His many creative abilities included his music, art, and carpentry.

His likeability, spirit and determination enhanced the lives of all who knew him. Survivors include his sisters, Estello (Auzville) Jackson of Richmond, VA; Janet Sharpe of Traverse City, Marjorie (Vern) Hartnett of Traverse City; nephew, Robert Jackson; niece, Sarah (Ron) Sakach, Tom and Matthew of Richmond, VA, and his dear friend, Anita Dean of East Lansing. Cremation has takenplace. A memorial service is being planned at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W.

Grand River Lansing 48906 in memory of Robert L. Sharpe. The family is being served by the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel. Master, I've done thy bidding, and the light is low in the west, and the long shift is over.
