Michigan Heritage Routes on agenda Public comment on the Michigan Transportation Commission's "Recommended Criteria and Procedures for Identifying Michigan's Heritage Routes" will be heard at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Transportation Building, 425 W. Ottawa SL During the hearing, the commission will review documents and transcripts from the October 1993 Town Hall meetings on Michigan Heritage Routes. The routes will identify and preserve state highways with unique scenic, recreational and historic features. AREA Program to report on Baha'i congress A special hourlong program covering the highlights of the November 1992 Baha'i World Congress in New York City will be shown at 8 p.m. today and Jan. 28 on TCI Cablevision Channel 56 in East Lansing and Meridian Township. Lansing Age 79, died January 19, 1994. Born April 15, 1914 in Riley Township, Mr. Rosso was a lifelong resident of Ingham and Clinton Counties. Mr. Rossow was employed at Motor Wheel Corporation as a press operator for 40 years, retiring in 1977, and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

She was born on September 20, 1910, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, and has been a resident of Lansing for 20 years, coming here from Watertown, NY.

Mrs. Bearden was a member of St. Mary Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1990. Surviving are son.

Johns, Phyllis (Alan) Moore of Bannister NEWMAN, CHARLIE Lansing Charlie Newman, lovable local humorist, disembarked this existence for adventures on another plane on Tuesday, January 18, at the age of 78. A resident of Lansing since 1979, Charlie was active in Alcoholics Anonymous, and spent his life supporting the growth of others through application of his wit. deeds, and love. He will be sorely missed by his devoted daughter, Diane, his sons, and his many friends. A memorial service will be held from p.m.

Lansing Age 92, passed away on January 19, 1994. She was born on April 28, 1901, in Eaton County, MI, and has been a resident of the greater Lansing area for most of her life. Mrs. Blonde attended South Baptist Church; and was employed with Lansing Public Schools in Food Service for 10 years, retiring in 1976. Surviving Age 67, died Tuesday, January 18, 1994.
