Mrs. Barwick had been employed in the Accounting Dept of Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Co. of Lansing. are 2 children, Nancy and husband Larry Russell of Birch Run, James Robert Barwick of Lansing; 10 grandchildren, Steven Cosper, Terry Cosper Judy. Kelly Buss, Patrick Russell, Bryan Barwick, Randall Barwick and Jason Barwick; 5 great Eva Cosper and Maceo Cosper, Joshua Had--ley, James Hadley and Nicole Cosper.

Also surviving are 2 sisters, Harriet Earll and Anna Ranier, both of LaPorte. IN; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m.. Monday at Krauss-Torhan Funeral Home, Birch Run, with Pastor Ted McCulloch officiating.

He. served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Lind married the former Max-' ine Bulme on July 3, 1948 inLansing.She survives along with one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Lind of Hope, MI; 3 grandchildren, Stephen and Matthew Lind of Hope.

He was predeceased by one son, Kevin, in 1963. Funeral services will be held on February 28, at 11 a-m. at the Billings Missionary Church in Albright Shore, Bea- verton. Burial will take place la the Chapel Hilt Memorial Garden Cemetery in Lansing. Eaton Rapids Age 82, life resident of Eaton Rapids, died Friday, February 25, 1994 at his residence.

Mr. Towns was a retired manager of the Farm Bureau Petroleum Company in Charlotte. He once owned and operated a trucking business, then became a driver for Farm Bureau, and retired as manager. A Cub Scout leader for many years, he enjoyed square and round dancing for over 40 years, and was fond of horticulture and landscaping. He was preceded in death by his son, Vern Towns, in 1993.

Surviving are his wife. Norma; 1 son, Victor (Ja-nice) Towns of Portage; 5 grandchildren, Lee Ann Lyon, Nathan, Charles, Cindy, and Ted Towns; 2 great grandchildren, Jessica and Maggie Mae; brother, Robert PRAAY, AMY E. (MORLEY) Laingsburg Age 87, died Thursday, February 24, 1994 at Owosso Medical Health Care Center. Amy was born April 25, 1906 in Clinton County a daughter of Byron and Eunice (Smith) Rowley. She attended schools in Laingsburg and worked there several years as a Telephone Operator; married Percy G.

Praay in October of 1969 in Saginaw, where she lived for 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Percy; 2 daughters, Betty (Lloyd) Starkweather and Marlene (Charles) Hewitt, both of Laingsburg; 1 son, Dale (Betty) Morley of Laingsburg; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; LIND, ORBIE E. Hope, MI Formerly of Lansing Age 70, died Friday, February 25, 1994 at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland, following a sudden illness. He was born on August 15, 1923 in Anna, IL Mr. Lind has resided in Hope since 1970, coming from Lansing, MI.

He is the owneroperator of Lind Llnd In- surance in Midland, Gladwin and Beaver-ton. Mr. Lind graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in mechanical engineering; he is a certified life underwriter (CLU), a SUMP, ZACKERY M. 7 month old infant son of David and Susana (Flores) Sump died February 24, 1994 in Ann Arbor after a brief illness.

Besides his parents of Tecumseh, he is survived Iff-' cally by his paternal grandmother, Nancy-Sump; 3 aunts and 2 uncles, all of Lansing. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Couture-Ochalek Funeral Home in Tecumseh. WHITMORE, GERALD F. Plymouth Passed away January 27, 1994 at age 75.

A native Detroiter, Mr. Whitmore worked 45 years for U.S. Truck Co. He was a member of the Lansing Traffic Club and voted Man of the Year in 1977. Mr.
