Survivors include his wife, Stella (Baillos) Se-venski; 2 daughters, Amy (Jay) Var-ney and Kelly (Chris) Shipman; 4 grandchildren; 1 stepson; 1 stepdaughter; 4 step grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Mr. Se-venski retired from Dana Corporation in Lansing and wrote a monthly article for the Union Newsletter. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 1 a.m. from the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac, MI. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Thursday at the Funeral Home. GOSSEL, BEATRICE SEILER Holt Passed away on December 18, 1996, in Mason. She was born on August 7, 1908, in Saginaw. She married Howard L. Seller in 1938 and he preceded her in death in February 1973.

She then married William Gossel in 1979 and he preceded her in death in October 1994. She has 2 children, Howard L. "Jack" and his wife, Wendy Seiler of Mason and Nancy Card of Grand Ledge; 3 grandsons, John Seiler of Lansing, Howard L. Seiler III of Florida and Aaron Card of Texas; 2 great grandchildren, Brittany and Shane Seiler, both of Lansing; sister, Helen Meyers of Saginaw; many nephews and nieces of Saginaw. She was a sustaining member of St.

Lawrence Hospital Auxiliary for over 25 years. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Smithkey, John Seiler, Aaron Card, Howard L. Seiler III, Herb Ryan, and Don Card. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Fr.

Frederick L. Thelen of Cristo Rev Catholic Church at 4 p.m. Friday, December 29, 1996, at the Estes-Leadley Holt-Delhi Chapel. McQueen, Arnold j. Lansing Age 83, died December 17, 1996. Born April 2, 1913, in Isabella County. Mr. McQueen was employed with the City of Lansing, Parks Department, for 34 years.

He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris in 1991. Surviving are 2 daughters, Arnola (Rod) Moeggenberg of Hartwell, GA, and Lorraine (Gene) Bliven of Lansing; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; many nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Trust Fund for Joseph's children. CHAPMAN, DONALD D. Eaton Rapids Age 71, died Tuesday, December 17. 1996. Mr.

Chapman was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and benevolent friend to many. He served in the 1st Marine Division 736th Tank Battalion during World War II; was a member or V.F.W. Post 565 Battle Creek; past member of V.F.W. Post 1283 Eaton Rapids; retired from the V.F.W. National Home in Eaton Rapids; and was an accomplished musician.

Preceding him in death was his father, Howard, and brother, Roland. Surviving are his wife, Dora, daughter, Annette Cooper, and son, Stephen Chapman, all of Eaton Rapids; mother, Arietta Chapman of Battle Creek; grandson, William Gabriel Cooper of Lansing; stepgrandchil-dren, Carrie, Jamie and Andy; brother, Carlton (Sandy) Chapman; sister-in-law, Norma Chapman; and several nieces and nephews. Lansing Age 75, passed away on December 15, 1996. Mr. Lott retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a veteran ofWorld War II. Lansing Age 86, passed away on December 18, 1996. He was born on Oc-tober 25, 1910, in Lansing and had been a lifelong resident.

He was an ac tive member of Mf. Hope United Methodist Church; a graduate of Lansing Central High School; and a member of Mid-Michigan Genealogy Society. He was employed at Oldsmobile Division for 40 years, retiring in 1972; was a life member of Walter French Lodge 557 F. A.M.; a member of Lansing Commandery 25, K.T.; a life member of the Mayflower Society; member of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCQ; the Sons of the American Revolution; the Historical Society of Michigan; and a volunteer escort at Sparrow Hospital. He was preceded in death by his son, Lynn in 1987.

Surviving are his wife, Delia, and 2 daughters, Donna (William) Cote and Nola (David) Meade, all of Lansing; daughter-in-law, Patricia Lawrence of Lansing; 4 grandchildren, Mark L. (Sandy) Lawrence, Lori A. (Rob) Greer, Melody N. (Gary) Galloway, and Michelle C. (Ross) Lyons; 4 great grandchildren, Nikkole, Matthew, Anthony, and Christina; half-brother, Floyd D.

Hope United Methodist Church, 501 E. Mt. Hope with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, and Mr.

Lawrence will lie-in-state at the Church from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to his Church. MURPHY, CAROLE ANN Holt Age 57, passed away on December 17, 1996. She was born on July 2, 1939, in Lansing and had been a resident of Holt for most of her life.

She was employed as a clerk at K-Mart for 2316 years. Surviving are her brother, John (Judy) Murphy of Holt; 3 nephews, Jeff (Jennifer) and James, all of Holt, and Jason (Beth) of Lansing; great niece and nephew, Ashlee and Benjamin; many friends and co-workers at K-Mart. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph D. Huston of Holt United Methodist Church at 10 a.m.

Leslie, Ml Age 62, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning, December 18, 1996. He was born on October 29, 1934, in Dock, KY, the son of George and Osie (Miller) Ousley. Rev. Ousley had lived in the Leslie area since 1952, moving from Kentucky. He was the former minister of Holy Bible Church of God, was also a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of Bunkerhill for 18 years, and also enjoyed Evangelist work.

Camping, fishing, and listening to music were favonte pastimes. Rev. Ousley was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a lifelong member of the Disabled American Veterans, Capital City Chapter 8. On October 5, 1957, he married Jewell Mae Roark in Angola, IN, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Debra Ousley of Pleasant Lake; one brother, Carl Ousley of Leslie; 6 sisters, Sally Lafferty of Florida, Virginia Bard of Columbus, OH, Shirley Johnson of Stock-bridge, Delores Ousley of Stock-bridge, Susie McKee of Jackson and Barbara Howard of Stockbridge; 5 frandchildren; and 1 great grand-aughter.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Ousley, and one grandson, Dale William Rogers. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, 1996, at 1 p.m. at Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge, with Rev. Charles E. Roark of Trinity Pentecostal Church of Bunkerhill officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Leslie. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9 p.m., Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, 12 noon until the time of service. East Lansing Age 93, passed away December 18, 1996. Born November 3, 1903, in Boston, MA, Miss Blakeborough had been a resident of Lansing since 1919 and retired from the State of Michigan. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and Charter Club; member of A.A.R.P.; volunteered with the Red Cross and local hospitals; and was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Surviving are her nephew, Bradley (Mary) Conklin of Mason; great nieces, Angie Conklin and Chrystal (Lawrence) Kniffin; great nephew, Bradley A. Conklin; and many other family members.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 20, at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, with Rev. Fr. Cyprian Uline officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Contributions to Holy Cross Church would be appreciated. BEAMAN, HUGH L. Okemos 'I Age 83, died Tuesday, December 17, 1996, at Sparrow Hospital.

He was born on March 8, 1913, in Dayton, OH, to Harry C. and Eva Bea-man and moved to Lansing in 1929 where he resided in the Okemos and East Lansing area for most of his life. He moved to Grayling and his beloved South Branch of the Au Sable River where he had resided since retiring in 1983. He recently moved to Haslett to live with his daughter. Mr.

Beaman was an avid fly-fisherman, taxidermist, gardener and outdoor -sports enthusiast who cared deeply about conservation in Michigan. He raduated from Central High chool in Lansing, then served in the Marine Corps during World War II before being discharged in 1947. By 1948, he was writing a weekly fly-fishing and fly-tying column in the Lansing State Journal. He hosted an outdoor show called "Water Wonderland" which was broadcast on WJIM-TV Lansing, WOOD-TV Grand Rapids, WWJ-TV Detroit and WTOM-TV Lansing, where his signature phrase was, "Take your boy fishing and you won't have to hunt for him." He owned and operated 2 sporting goods stores in Lansing until 1954. He then worked on poultry research for the agricultural school at M.S.U.

and was an author for Sports Afield and Outdoor Life magazines. He went on to work in the Athletic Department at Jenison Field House until retiring in 1983. Many athletes will well remember Hugh's lunches that he shared every day with the likes of Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Jay Vincent and other student athletes. Mr. Beaman was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from M.S.U.

and was made an honorary member of the M.S.U. Varsity Club. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and life member of Ducks Unlimited andTrout Unlimited. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Sparrow Hospital, Sparrow Home Health Care, Dr. McAlvey and Dr.

Hererra along with their nursing and office staffs for their care of Mr. Beaman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Peggy (1983); his parents, 2 brothers, Wiley E. of Lansing and Harry C. of Torch Lake; and sister, Margaret Elliott of Lansing.

Survivors include his son, Larry Beaman, and daughter, Janet Dietrich of Haslett; grandchildren, Carolyn (Tom) Small, Laura Dietrich, Mary (Todd) Gallup, David Dietrich, Steve (Diana) Beaman, Mike Beaman, Kelly Beaman, Deric Beaman and Missy Beaman; 19 freat grandchildren; brother, homas and nephew, Thomas both of Asheville, NC. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River with Chaplain Bobbie J.

Weller officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
