HUSTON, JAMES T. Lansing Age 69, passed away in Grand Rapids on January 17, 1987. He was born in Lansing on August 14, 1917 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, and was employed by Michigan State University for 35 years, retiring as Accounts Receivable Manager in 1981. He was a past President of the University Club, was active in the MSU Takedown Club and an honorary member of the MSU Varsity Club.

She taught school in Owosso, worked for the Bank of California in Tacoma, WA and retired from Oldsmobile Division (BOC) in 1964. She attended Delta Community Church and the Pennway Church of God. Surviving are sister-in-law, Mrs. Edith Kieppe; niece, Mrs. Warren Strong; nephew, Richard Kieppe; several great and great great nieces and nephews.

Religious services will be conducted by Rev. William W. Haskins, Pastor of the Delta Community Church, at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Funeral Home visitation will begin at 6 p.m.

SHOOK, ROLAND DWIGHT Lansing Age 77, died at his residence on January 18, 1987. Mr. Shook had been a resident of Lansing most of his life and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a Life Member and member for 43 years and Past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge He was a retiree of 01 Oldsmobile, retiring in 1971 as a Project Engineer. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, E. Meyer of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
