Sonnenberg was scheduled to testify today in the trial of one of two people accused of murdering her. Kim W. Eddie, chief assistant Ingham County prosecutor, said he expected to call Sonnenberg's children, Kristen and Michael, to testify about how, on Oct 25, they noticed the family car being driven away from their house just before they found their mother's motionless body hying in a pool of blood Ware, 23, no address, is accused in the handgun murders of Sonnenberg, 33, of 6071 Hart St, a food service worker, and East Lansing Police Officer James S.

Harvey's trial was scheduled to begin this week, but has been delayed until at least mid-April due to the exam and other matters already before the courts. ByDKXRAZB Staff Writer CHARLOTTE Witnesses Monday recited nine different versions of threats made by accused double murderer Mark LaMothe. Most of the threats were against David Rosebury, who had started seeing Delia Dart after her 1982 divorce from LaMothe, witnesses testified.

And some of the threats were against her. LaMothe is charged with the shooting deaths of Dart and Rose-bury, whose nude bodies were found last Sept 5 by her 19-year-old brother in a second-floor bedroom of her rented home on Houston Road outside Eaton Rapids. PROSECUTOR Michael Hocking also elicited testimony Monday from several witnesses who had knowledge of what he considers was the murder weapon a bolt-action, nine-shot .22 Mossberg target rifle that testimony indicated LaMothe owned two years before the killings but later sold to his ex-wife. In his opening statement last week, Hocking said the weapon has not been found since the murders. LaMothe threats included these mentioned in testimony Monday by: Charlys Harmon, who lived with Dart on Jerome Street in 1982.

She said LaMothe said "if he ever caught, (Dart and Rosebury) to- he would kill Rosebury." armon also said LaMothe called her the day before the trial began and asked what her testimony would 1)6. Joe Dart, Delia's brother. He said he and LaMothe once took some household goods to Delia when she lived in Dansville and found Rose-bury's truck parked in her driveway. Dart said his ex-brother-in-law "beat on the door, then went over to the truck and slammed his fist through the driver's side window and ought to blow both their heads Ingham County -Sheriffs Deputy Robert Laszlo testified later that he took a complaint about the smashed truck window. Mason Police Officer Daniel Duyst He testified he answered a March 21, 1962, call to Delia Dart's Mason home, chased LaMothe for a couple of blocks and stopped his car.

He said LaMothe admitted trying to force his way into the house after he found Rosebury's truck outside, later did break in, ripped the telephone off the wall and slapped and cut his ex-wife. Scott Cunningham, the best man at LaMothe's wedding to Delia Dart He testified they "fought a lot" and that he once beard LaMothe tell his wife three times that he'd like to kill her and take their baby daughter out of the state. Another time, Cunningham testified, LaMothe called at 3 a.m. to report he'd just found Rosebury's clothes in Dart's bedroom after barging into her apartment on the pretext that their baby was ill. Thomas Hampton, who knew Dart and Rosebury.

He said he was at her Lansing apartment once when LaMothe came over "with a crazed attitude" and yelled that he knew Rosebury was there and challenged him to fight. "He told Dave if he saw him with Delia gain, he'd kill him," Hampton testified. Another time, Hampton said, he was at Rosebury's when LaMothe called screamed over the telephone "If you see Delia again, I'm going to kill you." LaMothe's brother, MichaeL testified the defendant had a .22 bolt action rifle in the summer of 1983 and later took it to Dart's house to sell it toner. Dart's brother testified she had a -22 and a larger rifle in her downstairs closet and that there was no ammunition in the house when he cleaned it out after her funeral ON CROSS-EXAMINATION by defense attorney Charles Sautter, Michael Lamothe gave his brother an alibi for some of the time between when the victims were last seen leaving an Eaton Rapids bar about 11:30 p.m. on Sept.

4 and when two fishermen arrived at Dart's home at 3:30 a.m. and slept in their car until daylight The younger LaMothe said he spent that evening with friends in Mason and returned home about 1:15 a.m. to find his brother asleep in their Mason house trailer. Dart's landlord testified Monday that it was not unusual for Mark LaMothe to be at her home on Houston Road. inside.

EDDIE SAID Sonnenberg's husband, Lloyd, would testify that the car recovered by police after his wife's shooting was the family's and a purse found in the possession of the suspect, Patricia Louise Ware, at the time of Ware's arrest was his wife's. THE PROSECUTION contends that Ware, a walk-away from the same state corrections department half-way house in downtown Lansing that Harvey formerly lived in, participated in the murders; the defense is expected to try to prove she was an unwilling participant Roy E.
