As part of the decor a silvery moon will shine on a collection of fashions by R. F.

Gardner of East Lansing, who under the name of Roulaine, designs She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence L. Quill of 306 Orchard East Lairing, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Austin Walker of Loo-gootee, and the late Mr.

Walker. Laurinda's dress was made of alternating rows of satin ribbon and Valenciennes lace. It was designed with leg-o-mut-ton sleeves and a floor-length carriage style skirt. She carried roses, stephanotis and ivy. Miss Mary Alice Quill, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

She wore a gold satin dress designed along princess lines. Bridesmaids were Miss Rachel Walker, of Loogootee. sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Adrianne Auvil of Ashland, Ky. W. Austin Walker of Loogootee, was his brother's best man and ushers were Fintan Walker of Loogootee, another brother of the bridegroom, and Richard Stevens of Rensselaer, Ind.

Following a reception in the St. John's Student center, the couple left on a honeymoon to Canada. They will make their home in Vincennes, Ind. Laurinda is a graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods college in Terre Haute, and was a dietetic intern at Mills college in Oakland, Cal.

Mr. Walker is a graduate of the Purdue university school of pharmacy. i I' for her recent wedding to Jerome B. Walker, They spoke their vows in St, Thomas Aquinas church. iifl LOOK MRS.

Doris Shupp is chairman of decorations, Mrs. Albert Libbe, ticket chairman, Mrs. Harold Carney, dessert chairman, and Mrs. Lester Hansen, tables. Mrs.

Richard Holley is hostess chairman. All proceeds from the benefit will further the chapter's educational projects. MR. AND MRS. RICHARD KUTCH Joan Hedlund, Richard Kutch Wed in Alma Dunning chapel at Alma col- lege was the setting for the recent wedding of Miss Joan Hedlund, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Carl Hedlund, 1313 N. Jenison and Richard Kutch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kutch of Saginaw.

Both the bride and bridegroom will be seniors this year at Alma. For the ceremony, Joan chose a gown of silk organza, decorated with seed pearls and embroidered panels. She wore a Swedish crown and carried white roses and carnations. Matron of honor was Mrs. Keith Markle, sister of the bride, who wore pink brocaded taffeta.

Identically gowned bridesmaids were Miss Pat Voska and Miss Kathy Hondros. Howard Wright was best man, and ushers were Bruce Livingston, Carl Jacobson and David Kutch, brother of the bridegroom. The mother of the bride wore a pink lace sheath with matching accessories. The bridegroom's mother selected a turquoise lace sheath with matching accessories. Special guest at the wedding was Mrs.

Emma Yarchow of Monroe, grandmother of the bride. Daughter's Engagement Announced by Parents CHARLOTTE Mr. and Mrs. Howard Healey announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Anne, to Charles L. Green, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Fordyce L. Green. Charles is attending Olivet college. Miss Carol Eckstrom and Charles Wilson exchanged wedding vows recently in the Bethel Mission church of Wallace.

S. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wilson of 411 Bailey st, East Lansing. bride chose a floor-length gown with the bodice fashioned of embroidered net over satin.

The bouffant skirt of net was accented by insets of the embroidered net. Her veil was secured by a crown of lace, and she carried a single white orchid and lilies of the valley atop a Bible. Her necklace of pearls was a gift of the bridegroom. The bride was attended by her sister Ruth, as maid of slim two-tone plastic frames with visible ink supply Sensational low price! Carl Wilkie, a professonal model of Patricia Stevens modeling school, Chicago, will also model. During the past year Lansing chapter has sponsored six student nurses. Miss Ester Gable, a June graduate of Sparrow hospital, and Miss Kay Caruthers, a September graduate of St. Lawrence hospital, completed three -year scholarships in nurses training granted by the chapter. Mrs.

Gertrude Hills is in Gardeners Try Hand at Hats Many amusing hats were fashioned by members of the Bretton Woods Garden club recently when they tried their hands at imitating Lily Dache with paper plates trimmed with a wild assortment of garden flowers, fruits, vegetables and even weeds. Earlier they used their more conservative artistic tastes ini corsage workshop. Mrs. Ross Carter, new president, announced standing committee chairmen as follows: Mrs. Grover Ne Smith, program; Mrs.

An arrangement of deep red gladioli and magnolia leaves in a pottery bowl centered the refreshment table, which was covered with a handmade lace tablecloth. Mrs. K. A. Fuller and Mrs.

Elmer Lathrop poured. Mrs. Keast, Mrs. Glen Baker and Mrs. Floyd Kebler were hostesses and the meeting was held in the home of airs.

and Mrs. Elmer E. Kohl of 528 Highland East Lansing, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J.

Brochu of Hackettstown, N. J. Barbara chose a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace and tulle designed with a sabrina neckline. A crown of pearls secured her veil and she carried a white orchid atop a lace covered prayerbook. Mrs.

Irvin Kulow, of Battle Creek, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen E. i 1 and Miss E'Laine Simonds. Francis Dominique of Massachusetts, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man and ushers were Richard Brochu, brother of the bridegroom and Ronald Smith, the bridegroom's brother-in-law. After the ceremony, a lunch-con was served at Dines Terrace room. Later the couple left on a southern Michigan honeymoon.

When they return, they will reside at 2300 Marguerite ave. A special guest at the wedding was Mrs. Karl Yung, grandmother of the bride. Barbara attended Michigan State university. Tour of Europe Begun Saturday By Franks Family Mr.

and Mrs. Thomas Franks and daughter, Lisa Kimberly, left from Willow Run Saturday for a three-month trip to Europe. They plan to visit 20 countries. While in Paris, France, they will visit Mrs. Franks' sister and brother-in-law, Capt.

Mrs. Lawrence Imhoff, wife of a former Ohio congressman, turns out inaugural, wedding and graduation invitations in any one of 27 different styles and handwriting. She began her unique occupation when Henry Ford telephoned her "out of the blue" one day and asked her to inscribe important dates in the Ford family Bible.
