June 15-John Sanders, 72, died about 2 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of his son, Jay Sanders. in Eaton township. had been ill for about five weeks, following a stroke of paralysis.

He was born at Burler, February 3, 1867. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Della. Sanders: four children, Harvey of California, Mrs. Flossie Kirchen of Grand Ledge, Jay of Eaton township, and Johnnie of Eaton Rapids.

Eighteen grandchildren and three half-brothers. Harvey Favorite and George Favorite of Springport and George Cowb of Nebaska, also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bunker funeral home, the Rev. John W. Bunker officiating.

Anthony Marzen, and daughter. Mrs. Robert King of Mason; two brothers, Ray Parker. Lansing, and Fred Parker, of Saginaw; a sister. Miss Mary Marzen of Mason.

Burial will be in the New Okemos cemetery. The Rev. D. L. Huntwork of the Baptist church will officiate.

State Funerals (Special to The State Journal) Louis N. Hutchinson SHEPHERD. June 15 Masonic burial services were conducted at the Salt River cemetery, Shepherd, at 2:30 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon for Louis N. Hutchinson, 56, who died at his home, 22113 South Military avenue, Dearborn, at 4 o'clock, June 11. Mr.

Hutchinson's death was caused by a severe stroke of apoplexy suffered but a few hours previous, from which he did not rally. He was born at. Shepherd. the son 0: Mr. and Mrs.

Orlando Hutchinson (Isabella Campbell, the first white girl born in Isabella), and received his early education here. He served on the public safety commission in Dearborn from 1929 to 1936 and at the time of his death was director of Dearborn welfare department, a position he had held since 1936. He was an active worker in the Masonic lodge and a member of the Dearborn Pioneer club. His last visit to the place of his birth, Shepherd. was to observe Memorial Day services.
