"I'm sure there must be something in your web, for see the thread shake!" exclaimed Dicky when Mr. Spider made no move to answer the wire. "No indeed," laughed Mr. Spider. "It was only the wind shaking the web.

You can't fool me! I can tell the difference between the two vibrations every time." Dicky peeked out, and, sure enough, the web was empty, hut when it shook again Mr. Spider made a dash up his stairway Dicky and Happy Giggles at his heels. There in the web fluttered a little yellow butterfly, but before Mr. Spider could reach its side the yel-low wings had torn the web, and the poor, frightened little butterfly had dropped to the grasses beneath and Dicky, not seeing the whole, tumbled through after it. Dicky picked himself up from the grass.

Happy Giggles was gone, but there in the sunlight sparkled the web. Mr. Spider was busy mending a torn place, and from the grasses a beautiful butterfly darted away to the clover fields. Dicky Visits Mr. Spider. Dicky sat watching a great big spider web. Mr. Spider was no where in sight, but the minute a poor, silly tly caught his toe in the web out darted Mr.

Spider and quickly pulled the poor fly away under a leaf. "Now, how did he know that poor fly was in there, I'd like to know?" mused Dicky. A gentle breeze from behind lifted Dicky off the ground and blew "Come Right In." him over the web, and his toe caught in the silken mesh just as the poor fly's had. Quick as wink Mr. Spider came running out.

My. how he laughed when he saw Dicky with Happy Giggles standing behind him. "Dicky was just wondering how you knew when anything landed in your net" laughed Happy Giggles. "So I made him tiny and blew him in." He led Happy Giggles and Dicky into his living room under the cool shade of a leaf. He sat down on a spider chair and caught hold of a thread of the web by his toe.

"You see I can sit back here an the shade and sleep or rest and by holding this thread, I can easily tell when anything drops into my web" Mr. Spider explained. "The thread acts just like a telephone" said Happy Giggles. But Mr. Spider listens with his toe instead of his ears." Dicky thought this very funny and had a good laugh.

"Well, hardly that!" exclaimed Good Form Hints How a woman behaves to other women is the index of her acquaint- ance with good form. Very often girls who are anxious to know all the rules of etiquet which concern' men have not the slightest interest in knowing what deference they should pay to their mothers. As a general rule, a girl's attitude toward all older women should be very much the same as the attitude of a man to women. She must rise when an older woman enters the room and remain standing until her senior is seated and she must perform every possible service an older woman may require. The older woman should know how to accept those attentions graciously and as a right, else they betray an ignorance of some very sensible rules of good form.

17 years of age. and typhoid lever left me weak and debilitated so I had to stay out of school three months my doctor prescribed Vinol. It has built up my strength and now I am feeling fine." S. E. Bunce.

The reason Vinol was so successful in this boy's case, is because it containes beef and cod liver liver peptones, iron and manganese pep-tonates and glycerophosphates, the very elements needed to build up a weakened, run-down system, make rich, red blood and create strength.
