An LANSING STATE JOURNAL Aug. 21, 1983 7B Michigan News Upjohn won't fight FDA drug ban KALAMAZOO (AP) A U.S. Food and Drug Administration panel holds the key to use of a controversial, injectible birth control drug banned in the United States but used in 80 other nations, a spokeswoman for the drug's manufacturer says.
