Born June 13, 1940 in Seattle, Age 72, passed away December 30, 2003. Willie was a Lansing resident for 30 C.R. "Chick" Greenaway, age 102, passed away January 2, 2004. He was born si- 1 far? Vl 1 Washington. I years and was a April 18, 1901 in Age 77, died December 26, 2003.

Survivors include: her daughters, Sandra Taylor Allen, Carol (Za-chary) Cunningham, and Rita Allen; 9 grandchildren; 23 a Born January 10, 1924, in Alma; died December 30, 2003, at the age of 79. Edward served for 3 years with the U.S. Marines in the South Pacific during WWII. He retired from the WiUiamston. He married Mildred Smith in 1928 and had one daughter, Vir member ot the U.S.

Navy for 3 years. He was receded in eath by: his wife, Mildred juay uruugni jwy ana wisdom to all that knew her. Her favorite job was with "Home and Garden Judy and Lee were an and daughter, Willie Ruth. Survivors include: granddaughter, LaZinnial Shawn-zell Brandon; sisters, Ella Marie Humphrey of Winona, MS, Mildred B. Glason, Shirley R.

Bac-chus and Phyllis Ann Brandon, all of Memphis, TN; brothers, James of Winona, Leonard, Eddie and Oral all of Lansing; and a host of other relatives arid friends. Bair-Martin, Cynthia Kay Grand Ledge, Ml Cindi, age 51 passed away January 2, 2004 at Charlotte.

She was born December 16, 1952 at the residence where she lived, the daughter of Hazel Fern Smith and Alva Roy Bair. Cindi was an employee of Tractor Supply Company, Delta Twp. Store. She was a 1971 graduate of the Grand Ledge High School Cindi was a life long resident of the Grand Ledge area. She grew up on a dairy farm, which was in the family for four generations.

She was a very avid deer hunter; enjoyed sports and the outdoors with her horses, which she showed and went to parades with. She belonged to the Percheron Horse American Quarter Horse Eaton County Draft Horse and Pony. Club; Eaton County Sheriff Mounted Division; the Moose Lodge 288; Moose Motor Cycle club and the Grand Ledge Fire Dept Cindi was a member of the Bible Missionary Church of Grand Ledge. Survivors include her husband Dan; sons, Nicholas Alva of Eagle, John Patrick of Grand Ledge; daughter, Melissa Ann of Grand Ledge; 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter; mother, Hazel F. Rose of Mason; brother, Stephen Charles Bair of Potterville; stepmother and stepfather, June (Bob) Conrad of Grand Ledge; 1 half sister, Jennifer Rose of Adrian; 2 half brothers, Alva Roy Bair Jr.

of Lansing, Eric Alvin Rose of Leslie; 3 stepsisters, Patricia (August) Sol-lod of East Lansing, Sylvia Millisor of Grand Ledge, Cnarlene (Al) Teft of Charlotte; several cousins; and many, many special friends. She was predeceased by her father, Alva Roy Bair in 1976 and sister, Bonnie Sue Bair in 1964 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, P.M. at the Peters Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge with Rev. Jack Shell of the Bible Missionary Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery, Oneida Twp.

Memorial services will be celebrated Saturday, January 10, 2004, at Noon at the Gorsline-Runciman Co.

Mrs. Hendrick retired from Sohn Linen ginia Ann. in 1923, Chick and his mother Sue, opened Greenaway and Green-away Dry Goods and Men's Clothing store in Williamston, operating it until 1973. Living a simple life, he was known as a generous, kind and mild mannerea gentleman. His welcoming smile and sense of humor endeared people to him, making them laugh and children to wonder when he was telling the truth.

As a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Williamston, he was recognized as their most senior member. Chick was fortunate to have loyal friends and neighbors from whom he received many blessings. His family will always appreciate the help they gave him during his aging years. Also, the family would like to thank all the caregivers at Ingham County Medical Care Facility for their diligent efforts to care for Chick, and to Dr.

Mark Ensberg, who with his exceptional manner of working with people and his compassionate care, gave Chick the opportunity to have the best health possible his last two years. Two qualities mentioned when people spoke of Chick during his last years were "very determined" and He's a remarkable He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years and one brother, Bill. Surviving are his daughter, Virginia Ann (Dean) Houser of Williamston; 3 grandchildren, David (Peggy) Mead of Mason, James (Michelle) Mead of Charlotte, and Janice (Charles) McGowan of Williamston. Hastings, Ml Formerly of Lansing, Ml Age 92, and a long-time Oldsmo-biie employee, died January 2, 2004. Survived by: sons, Jack (Ber-nita) McDonald of Nashville, William (Dixie) McDonald of Wall-dorf, MD, Robert (Betty) McDonald of Hastings; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren great great grandchildren; sister, Doris Lester of Frostproof, FL; special cousin, Mildred (Er-win) Willison of Hickory Corners. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Charity of one's choice. Clegg, Marguerite Eaton Rapids, Ml Age 85, died Friday January 2, 2004 in Marshall. Marguerite was born September 24, 1918 in Wesley, IA, came to Michigan in 1937 and married W. Wayne Clegg on April 4, 1941. She served on the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital Board for more than a decade, taught 4-H and Sunday school.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne; daughter, Paula (Terry Hood) Clegg of DeWitt; son, Will (Joni) Uegg of Wyoming, MI; 3 grandchildren, Jordan and Justin Clegg of Wyoming, Rachel Hood of Athens, GA; 3 brothers, Lowell (Audrey) Erdman of Decora, IA, Darrell (Charlotte) Erdman of Omaha, NE, Bernard (Madelyn) Erdman of Cedar Rapids, IA; 3 sisters, Donnell Robinson of Iowa City, IA, Carrell Smith of Chicago, IL and Madeline (Connie) Holben of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Olive Erdman of Wesley, IA. Funeral services wUl be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004. 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 600 S.

Lansing, Ml Thelen, Angela C. Fowler, MI Died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the age of 82. She was born in Fowler, Michigan on April 21, 1921, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Goerge) Weber. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Christian Mothers Association. Angela married Julius A.

Thelen April 24, 1941 and he receded her in death December 1992. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Schneider of Fowler and Tean (Stan) Pohl of Westphalia, three sons, Alan (Teresa) Thelen of Fowler, Bruce (Rosemary) Theleri of St. Johns, and Clare (Janet) Thelen of Fowler, 27 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. Angela also has one sister, Leona Bauer of St. Johns and one brother, Urban (Marie) Weber of Fowler.

In addition to her husband, Angela was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Louis Schneider, grandson, Douglas Thelen, and four brothers, Norman, Raymond, "Harold and Melvin Weber. Funeral Mass wiU be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating.

Visitation will be 2-9 Sunday and 9-9 Monday at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, Fowler with rosaries prayed at 3:00 8:00 P.M. both days. extremely successful team. Wiley was born in Ann Arbor, Mick on August 5, 1928. From 1942 through 1944 he was a resident at the Starr Commonwealth in Albion, then graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing. He earned his bachelors degree from of in 1951, and then entered public education. After completing his Master's Degree at MSU he accepted a job with Pepperrill Air Force Base in Newfoundland. He later transferred to administration in Spain, then France where he married Luan Goodman.

Wiley returned to the U.S. to work at East Lansing High School, while completing his PhD at MSU. In 1970 he took a high school principalship in Willow Run Community Schools. As a result of his fair treatment of students he was tarred and feathered by the KKK in 1971, and received a Distinguished Community Service Award from the Episcopal Church of St Cyprian in Detroit In 1974 he became Dean of Community High School and later moved into the Deputy Superintendent role for Ann Arbor Public Schools. In 1977 he married Phyllis Wilkinson.

He retired as deputy superintendent in 1987 and then took a part time position with Geary College until 1996. He was an avid aviator from the age of 16 and took up skydiving on His 60th birthday. Wiley is survived by his wife Phyllis and two sons, Daniel Truth (Mystic, Conn.) and Kenneth Brownlee (Oakwood Village, Ohio). Kingry, Ann Catherine East Lansing, Ml Formerly of Saginaw, Ml Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ann Kingry passed away on January 3, 2004, at the age of 89. She was bora October 21, 1914, in Saginaw County, the daughter of Luigi and Assunta Mainolfi. Ann was a woman before her time with her belief in education and careers for her daughters and the consummate homemaker. Ann graduated from Saginaw Mount Carmel and worked at St Mary's Hospital in Saginaw as the switch board operator for ten years.

In 1942, she married Vincent Paul Kingry and they resided in Saginaw, Michigan for forty-seven years. She was preceded jn death by her husband Vincent in 1989, and two brothers Matthew and Joseph Mainolfi and two sisters Cecilia Salgat and Mary Aspin. Ann is survived by her sister Angeline Mainolfi (East Lansing). Ann is also survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Margaret Kingry and Martin Hogan (East Lansing), Susan and Dennis Yetter (Kalamazoo, Michigan), and Mary Ann and Ed Pires (Armonk, New York). Four grandchildren: Nicholas (Sarah) and Jeffrey (Tonya) Yetter, Cain-near Kingry Hogan and Carrie Ann Pires.

Three great-grandchildren: Bretlyn Ann, Mark and Jared Yetter. She was blessed with many loving friends and the special care showered on her by Shelly Rogers and Elaine Durrance. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Student Parish, 327 MAC, East Lansing.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 5, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing.

It has pleased the good Lord to take Meta to Him in Heaven on January 2, 2004 at the age of 99. Meta came to Lansing from Germany in 1928 and has been a resident all of her life. He was born on December 1, 1951 in Antioch, Illinois the son of Ernests and Barbara Senins. Mr.

Senins was a member of the Portland Church, of the Nazarene'and was a great person, always available and giving of himself to others. He owned and operated Baltic Painting and was a fanatic Green Bay Packers fan. He was very proud of his ethnic background, making numerous mission trips to Latvia. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernests Senins. Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Sandra M.

of Portland; 3 children, Dennis (Cheri) Wilke of Mid-dleville, MI, Di (Bruce) Scheltema of Middleville, and Jason (Lynn) Wilke of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren, Kaylee, Nick, and Kari Wilke, Taegen Scheltema, and Jake Wilke; mother, Barbara Senins of Milwaukee; mother and father-in-law, Gordon and Shirley Arkens of Milwaukee; 3 sisters, Inta, Sylvia (Chris), and Sandy; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Latvia. Vedder of Lansing; nephew, Gerald (Carol) Vedder of Lansing; niece, Marilyn Bennett of Fountain Valley, CA; great nephews, Friedrich (Rebecca) Vedder, Erich (Tiffany) Vedder, and James and Brett Bennett; great great nieces, Alexis Vedder and Jordyn Bennett; and several cousins, both here and in Germany. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
