She was born August 29, 1923, in Flint, MI, daughter the late Frank and Leda Robinson. Doris was raised on a farm in Evart, MI (Sylvan Twp.) and graduated from Marion High School. She proudly served in the U.S. Navy Waves from 1944-1946 serving at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA.

Doris married Richard Grant, Sr. in 1947 and the two them moved to Lansing. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lansing and she enjoyed being outdoors, walking, gardening and working in her yard. She also liked to watch sports on television. She is survived by her children, Richard (Rhonda) Grant and Sandy (Tom) Day; grandchildren, Chad (Emily) Grant, Sean (Kate) Grant, Jared Grant, Kristin (Patrick) Curran and Jason Day; great-grandsons, Nolan and Aiden Curran; sisters, Jane Anderson and Dolores Robinson; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel immediately followed by a procession to the grave at Deepdale Memorial Gardens for the Rite of Committal and military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Mark Louis Fox Fowler Mark Louis Fox, passed away on November 20, 2014, at the age of 96.

Mark was born in Fowler, on April 23, 1918, the son Urban and Dorothy (Feldpausch) Fox. He married Marie Rehmann on July 26, 1943 in St. Johns, MI, and she preceded him in death on December 12, 2010. Surviving Mark are his children, Don Fox, Bob Fox, Dianne (Patrick Mullins) Fox, Beth (Terry) Kret, and Michael Fox; grandchildren, Nichole, Amy and Sara Adams, Marcus, ennifer and Andrew Kret, Mark Fox, Joe Mullins and Ann Mullins, great grandchildren, Stella Kraus and Cooper Kret; brothers, John (Shirley) Fox and Louis Fox; step-brothers and sisters, Rosemary (Gideon) Marsal, Jim (Bernie) Fox, Marvin (Sue) Fox, Clare (Nancy) Fox and Marlene (Larry) Kreiger, and sisters in law, Dorothy and Ione Fox. Preceding Mark in death along with his wife Marie, are daughter, Marilyn Adams, his parents, step-mother, Martha (Lenneman), siblings, Paul (Helen), Hugo (Lucille), Claude and Lloyd Fox.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding, burial to follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a rosary being prayed at 3 p.m., and a vigil service at 8 p.m., at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. Formerly of Dimondale, age 88, entered into the joy of heaven on November 20, 2014. Mrs. Dennis was born September 2, 1926 in Bethpage, Tennessee, a daughter of Willis C. and Lela E. (Key) Wims.

She is a member of Capitol City Baptist Church, Holt. Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Daniel) Williams and Kristie (Brian) Hagerman; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jewel Smith, Jennie Mullins, Shirley Wilson and Thelma Tuttle; 3 brothers, Harold, Harlin and Donnie Wims; nieces and nephews. Services 11 A.M. Monday, November 24, 2014, at Field Leik Funeral Home, Dimondale, with Pastor Erwin Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Dimondale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Roberta Dennis Mary Elizabeth (Taylor) Schneeberger, 97, of Grand Ledge, formerly of DeWitt, passed away November 20, 2014.
