The 1960 Raiders finished 9-0, extending the school's winning streak to 22 games, and set the school record for total yards gained in a season. The Hall will also induct John Mauren, the sports writer and editor of the Portland Review Observer from 1948 to 1964, as an honorary member. Raider honored by Free Press ADRIAN Portland High School alumnus John Rock has been named to the 2013 Detroit Free Press All-Small Co-leges team. Rock, who graduated from Portland in 2011, plays at Adrian College and was named a captain before this, his junior season for the Bulldogs.
